NSFA, Panacan, Davao City – Eastern Mindanao Command is prepared to deploy troops to areas to be affected by typhoon “Ruby” if needed with its Joint Task Force Tambayayong III.
The Task Force composed of search and rescue and Infrastructure rehabilitation skilled soldier (mason, carpenter etc) from 10th and 4th Infantry Divisions and Naval Forces Eastern Mindanao was reactivated after warning was issued on the possibility of the typhoon entering the Philippine Area of Responsibility.
Meantime, except for the Dinagat, Siargao and Camiguin, Provinces, evacuees from the North Eastern coast of the Eastern Mindanao Command have started to return to their respective homes after Typhoon Ruby hit Northern part of the Visayas.
In a directive issued by General Aurelio Baladad, Commander of Eastern Mindanao, he directed 4th Infantry Division, to extend the necessary assistance to the different Local Disaster Risk Reduction Management Council in its AOR in bringing the evacuees to their respective community.
